Some friends and I have long being trying to remember what there was an advert for in the 80s, in which the only thing we can remember is a male (with a Geordie accent?) saying 'Come back, come back! Aww, you can't leave me looking like this!!

We seem to think it was around when British Gas was privatised (If you see, Sid - tell him, etc.), but was it this or something else.

This tortured us for years, until we gave up on it!

My thanks in advance,
Ade.

Apparently it was for Walkers crisps. It was Egyptians buliding a pyramid, they walk off leaving it unfinished and the foreman says "Come back, come back you can't leave it looking like this".

Nice one - I'll see if the boys can remember any more clearly now.

Many thanks SMP!
