Hi

Anyone heard of Diesel Models? My son has joined up and been invited to a free photo shoot in London - I have to accompany him (he's 19).

Any info about this company appreciated.

Thanks.

Just beware that what usually happens on these things is they say he's just what they are looking for, but he needs to pay X for a portfolio of pictures to promote him, where X is between two and three hundred pounds. Needless to say, the chance of getting work out of it is relatively small.
Not saying its a scam, but make sure you maintain a sense of whats in it for them.
Just as buildersmate says, thats why they want you to accompany him. Your son won't have any money, but his mum just happens to be there with her credit card...................
Hi
I went to the Blue Rooms through Diesel Models in the summer of last year with my dad, had a really great experience, found it very professional. My dad works in TV and even he was really impressed, which for dad is something!
I've since had three offers from Model Agencies, and I'm on the books with Eye Candy Models in Bucks.
Good luck!
Hi

I was invited to London for a shoot with Diesel Models and my mother needed to accompany me too. I am 21, thought it abit strange at first but after going to the shoot I understand there age policy for saftey, I had a wonderful shoot at Blue Rooms. I am very serious about becoming a model and I have been given so much support from my family. I came away with a beautiful portfolio and they gave me all the advise I needed.

Regards

Missy

Good Luck.
I applied to Diesel Models some months ago and had a phone call from one of there consultants saying they were impressed with my picture. As the guy I spoke to me said, realistically there was only so much they could tell me over the phone so this is why he offered me a shoot. The day was great fun but in all honesty I fell apart in front of the camera. My mom tried to be supportive but this made me realise that modelling was not for me. I feel they are a really good company. Check out their website www.dieselmodels.co.uk

As a working model I have used Diesel Models many times to get my portfolio updated. They are a great company and very well known in the fashion industry.
