Help please. When I print labels from word 2007 they will not print on the labels correctly. They start too near the top and then all out of line. However when I print them on a A4 piece of paper they are correct.
I have 400 to print.!!! I am using a HP Deskjet F2280. and A4 size labels 7 down 2 across. Have tried starting afresh to no avail. TIA.Roach

Before you print the labels, set the stationery type to A4 plain (as thougn you had the paper loaded that allows correct printing). Sorry it's all I can think of. Do this at your own risk, don't want a jam! Maybe try a single page.
You A4 paper is presumably about 80 gsm, whereas the labels on a carrier sheet will be considerably thicker. First, you need to ensure that when you come to print the actual labels, you go to the printer settings and select the right paper. If that doesn't help, the only thing I can suggest is to adjust the top margin to compensate.
possibly a silly question but are you sure the label paper is A4?

Thx
will try the adjusting of the margins to see if that works.
Yes it is A4 labels. I have just opened word up again ..done a fresh sheet ...& still it prints wrong...arrggghh
have you checked the label size on your pc matchesd the label size you are using? there is usually a code on the box you can match up
