Not sure if this is teh appropriate section but...

Does the NHS have IT staff in each hospital or is there a central location that uses remote administration? Or possibly a central administrative authority with a small band of merry (wo)men for basic admin duties at each location

Thanks

Essentially each hospital is a self autonomous trust and a separate business in the wider NHS.

Each has its own IT department and they all have their own and very different rules.

Bloody stupid isnt it.
