Original, inexpensive present

It's My partner's birthday next month and I have no idea what to buy him. I can't afford what he would really like and he has everything already. I'm going to try to get my baby to do a painting for him and then I'll put it in a frame, but any ideas as to what I can get him?

It's hard to say without knowing him.

I got my BF a blow up doll for Xmas last year and got the biggest laugh of the day. That's out sense of humour though. He told his mate about it who came round the next day with a foot pump...lol

He's a big ManU fan so I got him a poster of George Best with the quote ...

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just sqandered....

Then had it framed....that cost about £15.

how about finding one of the ceremic shops where they will let you paint a mug / plate etc.

They will have everything you need and they are usually reasonably priced

These look really nice - you can get different treatments done to your own photo, like a warhol or banksy and if you get a smallish canvas, it is not too expensive. absolutely original.
