Does anyone know of anywhere or anyone who sell/makes birthday cakes at a reasonable price with less than 7 days notice?
Thanks

Thanks guys, don't need it personalised. Did have a look in Tesco and Sainsbury's for off the shelf ones but they didn't look very impressive but if all else fails I'll have to make do with one of those...
I can't believe I forgot all about a cake, I've organised everthing else for my mum's 60th party next Saturday and blooming forgot the cake!
honestly im sure i seen on ebay once cake making!!!! yellow pages try there...people doing it from home im sure would b able to accomodate you...suppose personalised is a bit nicer for special cake

oh and also...marks and spencers have LOVELY ones and they would ice happy 60th mum im sure without much notce as the cakes are already there and made.......good luck xx
CostCo do huge ones very reasonable - They also do a huge big chocolate fudge cake for about £15.

Other than that, the marks and spencers one are nice.

I bought an M & S birthday cake for my Mum and it was as dry as a bone - horrible. What about Morrisons or make one yourself.
Where do you live ?
I was going to suggest a local bakery , or someone in the local paper ..or
maybe word of mouth ? Hope all goes well and you get sorted soon ...

I live in Billericay Essex, I don't really want to spend more than £40 and do not have the time (or patience!) to bake my own one...
All the ones I've seen on M&S and even Waitrose need at least 7 days notice.
My own fault really as I've been so busy organising everything else for the party, I forgot all about a cake!
Seems like I will just have to get one off the shelf after all...
Google - Bakery Billericay - and you gets loads of possibilities to try
