Does anyone know if the NHS Eye Test is free for students at Uni or if there is a charge and if so how much. I know that there will be a payment for glasses

yes they do Bob - you can get a free eye test up to the age of 18 and if you continue in further education, you just have to sign a form and put the name of college/university etc on it.
