Is it possible to have a second phone on a pay monthly mobile account? If so is the line rental charge the same as the first phone? Can calls between the 2 numbers be free?

Mr Spudqueen and myself both have monthly mobile accounts, with the bills for both coming out of Mr Spudqueens bank account. We are on different tariffs, and no, calls between the two are not free.

My boyfriend and I had two phones on one account, line rental was per phone (ie two bills under one account number). Vodafone used to do a Friends & Family where you would pay £5 per month and be able to link 4 other vodafone users and all five of you would have free calls to each other. I had it on my bill added my bf, his mum, my mum and his stepdad. My mum and his stepdad were payg vodafone so it meant my mum could phone me for free, his stepdad could phone bf's mum for free.
