I live next door to a rented property which is in a bad state of repair.
We are having structural problems that are a direct result of the property next door.
We have tried on numerous occasions to contact the owner through the rental agency, which we did finally manage to do.
He was dismissive and quite frankly was really rude.
I am worried sick about this as we are an ordinary family who try really hard to keep our house nice.
The front wall of my house in the living room is now black with damp as they will not repair the guttering joining our properties.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Try section 82, statutory nuisance (environmental protection act 1990)
Inform your buildings insurance and let them deal with it. That is what you pay the premiums for.
