It always amazes me how tried and tested, homemade beauty preparations can oftentimes be far more effective than expensive, shop-bought products. I have read some fab tips on this section of Ab recently, from banishing blackheads with model aeroplane glue, to putting baking soda on your toothbrush for enamel stain removal.

So, do you have a weird and wacky, money-saving, tried and tested beauty tip that you would like to share?

I make my own exfoliator by grinding sugar (or salt) and linseeds, and mixing with olive oil and a dash of lemon juice. It leaves my skin silky soft, and causes no adverse reaction on my sensitive skin.
