Over the past few weeks I have encountered a problem accessing HSBC online banking via my Mac. The problem also occurs when trying to access my MSN Hotmail account.
I can access other secure sites such as Alliance & leicester banking and my Yahoo account.
When I use my windows pc at work, there isn't an issue.
Is this a Safari web-browser problem? Is there a work around fix?
At present I am unable to do online banking at home!!

I am using an imac g5 powerpc, running tiger mac osx version 10.4.11. The browser is safari 3.0.4. All software is up to date.

As I stated in my previous post, I have problems accessing Hotmail and certain online banking institutions. This is only a relatively recent issue and I was wondering if it was due to a browser software update. If so is the a work around fix?
I'm not aware of any issues, but I'd suggest trying Firefox, and see if it works there.

Some sites can have issues with some browsers (read: the site has been poorly constructed).
Well actually, just to add: I think they did used to have these funny noises, but only on the old phone systems from the 40s or before... not any more.
(My last answer was in the wrong thread. What's going on AB?!)
