Forgotten Hotmail password

I recently felt the need to change my hotmail password and now for the life of me I can't remember what it was! I would just open a new hotmail account but for the fact that I had hundreds of saved emails in my account! Given that nothing is ever totally lost on my computer (so I'm told) and my password having been used at least once, is there any way I can recover it from wherever it may be hiding on my computer, or is it lost forever? I'd hate to lose all the information in my stored emails!!

I had a corupt hard drive on my laptop and in the computer shop they got most of the data and files i use off but i have since noticed that impotant photo albums are missing that were on my desktop. He gave the broken drive back so is there any way I can

Hotmail messages are stored on Hotmail servers , not your computer . Where you sign on there is a line saying 'Forgot your password ?' click on that & follow the instructions
