USB port not working?

Why is it that my USB port on my laptop doesnt seem to be working for printer cable, bluetooth adapter, memory stick etc, the only thing working is for my nikon camera cable? help? anyone found pc world any good for pc problems?

do you want different ones - or just adding to your collection?
try control panel | system | hardware | device manager |
click on the + next to universal serial bus - delete all the entries one by one ....
reboot your machine - it will re detect and reload the drivers
reboot the machine
plug sum stuff in - see if that does the trick
