Hello, I was wondering if anyone could help with my musical dilemma. I've been trying to find out the name of the song that the freaky woman with the wierd shaped head sings. It's not really a song as such, she just sort of sings different notes and jumps octaves a lot. I know it's a long shot but I really want to download it but don't really know what I'm looking for. Thanks x

I think it might be "Il Dolce Suono", from the opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" (Act 2: Mad scene "Il dolce suono mi colp...").  But you'll have to download that to check!

hiya, nicola_red is right!! here is a link that will hopefully let you listen to the song :

Thanks for your help guys, but the main thing I like about it is when it really gets going and gets really funky, this is obviously the original opera piece - can anyone help further? x
omg! you have no idea how long ive been looking for that song and the only way you can get it is go into sanity and buy it on the soundtrack..i know pretty crappy

It is called Lucia di Lammermoor and you can get the funky techno mix fon Winmx. It is by Sarah Brightman, but if you type in Fifth Element for the song title it will give you loads of versions to choose from.

Love the mix myself and am always playing it
