I have a small notebook but it does not have a CD drive.

It has USB connector sockets.

I need to load aprogram onto it, but it is on a CD. When you load the CD onto a computer with a CD drive you get the option to install the program.

Can somebody suggest a way of doing it.

download the prog from it's website
copy the files to a usb memory stick
buy a usb cd/dvd drive
network share to a pc with optical drive
I would suggest that you buy an external cd/dvd drive priced at 30+.
