Simply Burning by Roxio

Each time I try to copy something from a CD R using the above to a blank disc, it keeps coming up saying theres a problem writing to the disc. I have purchased 2 different makes of disc and I keep getting the same problem. Help!

Try slowing down the write speed. You should be able to do that within Roxio.

My CD writer can write at 48x so try slowing it down to 24x or 12x to see if that makes a difference.

I sometimes have to slow down DVDS from 16x to 8x to get them to work.

you can't copy from cd to cd ... I don't care what it says in the book ... it just never works

It's a pain ... but I always copy the files to a folder ... and then from the folder to a cd/dvd

you can get a bad batch of discs- but I find that it works far more reliably.
