The lettering on my much used keyboard is gradually being rubbed off. Is there anything that can be done to rectify this as I dont want to fork out on another laptop.
Any suggestions please

stop using it ...

My lappy is 5+ years old - all keys fine ...
I'd guess it's due to
acid skin?
sweaty palms?

how about using a seperate keyboard?
not particularly convenient on your lap - not too bad on a desk
You can buy a keyboard for about 10 and plug it into the USB port on the laptop. That will work.

Probably better using a full size keyboard than a small laptop keyboard, but as AC says, difficult if you use the laptop on your lap.
who is the manufacturer of this laptop ?..just out of curiosity.
I bet it's Acer.
Acer...must make a note of that when shopping around for a lappy

HP!!!

How old is it? I would not have expected HP keyboards to wear.

Hello Chuck, My laptop is about four years old. Perhaps I have just been unlucky. I don't want to buy another laptop till really have to as it would have to be a Vista and I am happy with XP. In the meantime time I will struggle on.
It might inprove my touch typing. What this space.
