"blurry" font on my pc

"somehow" we have managed to change the screen resolution on our PC DONT KNOW what we did as we weren't fiddling about. It is now so "blurry". \we have gone in and adjusted the font size to maximum but still the font is blurred. Advice please? Thanks in advance.

Try pressing Ctrl and - keys together to decrease font. Ctrl and + to increase font.

it's ANY screen...be it typing on word or surfing the internet. Its XP by the way . Laso it'snot the font "size" that's ok its just that each word is "blurry" ...no I have'nt got a hangover nor do i need specsavers....it REALLY is...thanks for your answers so far ....
