RUNDLL error

I have a Dell laptop, on switch on it comes up with the following RUNDLL error warning,

c:\windows\omunutowuw.dll..

whenever i am using internet explorer, after about 5/10 minutes it brings up microsoft error and closes.

are the two related and what can i do about it, i did look on internet, it says cure it free by downloading rundll scan, then says to fix problems it will cost 49 dollars... any help

it's a toss up which will cause more problems ... the problem - or the dll cure .... hopefully it's just a con - it could however be a trijan ... use spybot search and destroy and malwarebytes to scan for nasties.

as for the dll
try re-registering it

Go to the Run item on the Start menu - type:

regsvr32 c:\windows\omunutowuw.dll
