Quite often when I run norton anti virus and finds threats, try to delete them but delete failed. I ended up searching the files and try to delete them manually. How do we delete these threats? Why cant norton just delete these threats with their program? I am so confused, please help!

Thank you!

visit www.nod32.com and download the trial version of their software. When you see how much better it is than norton, you might want to take out a subscription and consign norton to the recycle bin.

If you are running XP, turn off system restore, delete all files from temp directories, and empty the internet cache, also run msconfig and disable anything that looks like it doesn't belong.

Boot in safe mode then run a scan and delete

Ad-aware can often get rid of stuff that annoying if you set up custom scan correctly. Worked for me.
