A sandwich.

Corned Beef Hash is nice.

Place in layers, carrots, onions, potatoes (thinly sliced about 1cm thick), corned beef sliced in a casserole dish.  Poor gravy on top, enough to cover the hole ingredients, and don't forget to season with a little salt and pepper.

Place in the oven (hot) until veggies are cooked - delicious!

Hope you enjoy this recipe.

Regards
Katherine

Sorry about that spelling error - I was mean't to say Pour rather than Poor
Corned Beef Fritters are nice. Put a tin of corned beef in the fridge for a few hours to let it harden, make up a batter or buy a packet mix! Dip thick slices of CB into batter and deep fry approx 15 mins or shallow fry approx 20 mins turning fritters over. Very tasty but we dont have them too often as they're fattening! I always keep my CB unopened in the fridge as it does'nt crumble when sliced gem. My daughter is Gem too.

Mix through with mashed tatties and beans.

For sandwiches mash it up with a good dollop of tomato sauce - ace.

My mum makes a gorgeous corned beef hash, as far as I know, it's just corned beef, onions & potato cooked in a frying pan... yummy :-)
Yeah Chillum - mix with mashed potato & a tin of your finest beans - mmmmm

in a frying pan fry up an onion, add cooked diced potatoes, add diced corned beef, chopped parsley, worcester sauce, dash of tabasco, tomatoe puree (or chopped fresh tomatoes if you're posh!!) and serve with a fried egg on top and plenty of tomato ketchup. lovely!

FINA - That brought back nice memories of when I was little, as my Mum used to make us corned beef fritters & spam fritters - they were delicious.

Quantities and sizes are variable to taste.

Soften chopped onions in a little oil. Stir in potatoes, add hot water and simmer until potatoes are slightly overcooked (just starting to break up). Add a splodge of HP brown sauce and 2ish heaped teaspoons of Bistro gravy granules. Bring to simmer, add chopped corned beef, heat through and serve.
Brown hovis bread, sliced corned beef, cold thick mushy peas and hot gravy, sounds disgusting but tastes superb, try it and see!!
Try corned beef as a topping for a baked  potato. Also try with sliced onion in a buttered breadcake cold and also heated up in a microwave, superb! Mind you don't burn your mouth though!
