My mobile phone contract is up for renewal, the current phone I have is almost totally broken. I want a cheap 12 month contract and plain, simple, light, non-gadgety handset. Any recommendations?

That's your personal opinion...which is wrong.

Samsung - cheap, pretty but poor quality components.

Nokia - medium priced, not as pretty but better quality than Samsung.

Apple iPhone - expensive, pretty but with the lowest quality components of all mobile phones. (the camera unit costs Apple less than 2 to buy)

Sony Ericsson - medium priced, good looking and contains the very best quality components of all mobile phones. (contain excellent quality sony cybershot cameras)
