my spelling is not very good and i am sorry for that
about ten years ago i found out that a famley was having problems with there cat and her three kittens when i got there two of the kittens were dead the other was not good at all i saw the famlie at the house and thay had twin boys age 18 months and it was obivous the children had used the kittens as play things. I left right away and took them home. The vet told us that we were just in time and that the mum had a broken hip . we got them better with lots of help from the vet and lots of tlc we called them candy and lucy we were going to call her lucky but thought that may not have been a goo idear thay love everyone and everyone loves them candy has always been the mum and lucy the baby she still holds her down and licks the life out of her and lucy has that look on her face like "OK get on withi am getting somthig to eat soon anyway" Candy meet me from work every day some times at differant times but she was always there she walks to the shop with me sleeps on my bed,all that stuff. She wasent there one day and now its three weeks with out anything and i put posters out and put them in all the houses and nothing and i am so so sad . its the not knowing that is the worst. every time i come home she is not there and that hurts. Lucy comes out somtimes and thats nice.I wish i knewi i think if she was dead sombody would have seen it we put a large reward out and still nothing..I just dont know. my dad died three weeks ago and that was very sudden i am the only child and its hard. I know he wont come back but there is a chance that candy may come back somtimes cats go missing and come back after weeks and weeks so there is a chance is there not?
thank you for you time. George

that's very sad, George. you do hear of stories when cats turn up after very long periods away from home.

was Candy chipped? if not, you could try calling around the local vets, as they might know something.

all the best x
icebread...candy has been lucky to have had you to look after her for a he should have been called lucky for being found, rescued and cared for by you icebread.

However it is time to move on and perhaps a visit to the Cat Rescue Unit may entice you to get another cat.
There's something "fishy" about this post. Mmmmmhhhhh
Why is there something 'fishy'about this,Parrifin?

icebread....you have done about as much as you can.....have you tried going door-to-door..asking your neighbours personally if they have seen your cat?? .If your moggy was often out and about with you, then it must be familiar to others where you live.
Good luck
i hope your little cat comes home i had 1 of mine go missing for 11 months she turned up one day as if nothing had happened, so dont give up hope
George bear with it a bit longer how old is she? My ginger ninja has been gone for 2 days at present i am not expecting home for another 7 days unless it rains, We live in the countryside and he comes home eats as much as he can get down him sleeps for a week and then bu@@ers off back to the rabbits in the fields, he went missing for 3 weeks and we put all the signs up for lost cat, mix 96 radio aired him as lost, phoned all vets in my area, rspca + cats protection and photo on missing pets bureau with details, when he came home that time he was straight to the vets to be microchipped, they do wonder off so stick with it..
