I followed Delia's recipe from her website and just couldn't get it to thicken. Any ideas what I did wrong?

Did you use large eggs?

Yes, I did, I always use large ones. I put the rest in the fridge afterwards and a few hours later it was perfect! So I'll know to make it in advance next time.
