removing bluetak

Some time ago I accidentally trod on some bluetak on the carpet, and didn't notice it for a while. I tried romoving it with ice cubes, then with heat, but nothing worked and now it's firmly embedded and gathering dirt. Any suggestions for how to get rid of it, please?

Try the ice cube again & scrape away with a sharpish blade.

or put some olive oil on it leave 4 a few seconds and scrape with a wall paper scraper
