Are there any hydrangea specialists out there? and could they please give me some idea why I haven't any flowers this year. The plant itself looks very healthy and green? should I keep it for another year and wait and see? or dispose of it.? thanks.

Not only the dead heads but pruning any flower buds if you prune the shape of the plant in the fall or winter.
