Kate,if that was the extent of her misdeeds I wouldn't complain.We were definitely not loved by her...except for the money she could claim off benefits for us all (which she spent on herself).
I envy all you lucky people who have/had nice mothers!

We had chicken ding, sausage ding, anything ding until the microwave broke from cooking stuff which shouldn't go in it.

Can't remember what we ate before the microwave but I'm sure we must have been fed probably quavers

My mum hated cooking .Bless her. We all learned to cook in sheer self-defence!! That said I am off to London tomorrow to meet with one of my ( many ) foster sisters. She and her brother kept in contact with my mum to the end. So Mum..not a cook... but a wonderful person.

now i remember we had chips a lot,because my dad helped out at the farm and got a free bag of spuds,turnip and carrots.
