Has anyone ever taken up the "offer" from Readers Digest where they "guarantee" you to be a winner of a large cash sum? Their criteria seems to be you pay a small deposit, they send you a book (which you can apparently return) - as it sounds too good to be true, is it?

You aren't guaranteed to win a large cash sum, only the chance of winning. You can enter free for the same chance.
There is also a free monthly prize draw on their web site that you can enter daily. The prize if you are the lucky one is 5,000.
Tom Champagne, the director, assured a competition club that I belonged to that everyone stood an equal chance of being picked whether you sent the NO envelope or the YES!
Go for it!

Oh cheers Tallulah - will send off the "no" envelope - if I win, it will all be down to you and your advice! Many thanks
My dad has been with them for years, never won anything!
We have had dealings with Readers Digest for over 40 years and have the magazine every month, have purchased quite a few books etc. in that time and never won a thing, its all down to luck.

thanks for that, all I can say is "you have to be in it to win it" and I suppose I will have as much a chance as anyone! Again, cheers all
