..........magazines use to stick free CDs etc. to the front covers?  That rubbery glue that just peels off after you've removed the freebie item.

If anyone knows a brand name and a supplier I would be very grateful!  Thanks!

Lakeland Limited do a product called "sticky stuff remover" which is truly magical and does not damage the product, they have a website or can send you a catalogue and you can order.  They are a brilliant Company to deal with for all sorts of amazing household products!
Just realised totally misread your mail, however, (lucky for me) lakeland also do Glue Spots!!!

Yes, I have the Sticky Stuff Remover from Lakeland and it's fab!

I don't think the Glue Dots is what I'm after 'cos I'm sure they will provide a permanent bond.

I make greetings cards and I would like to be able to attach things to the front of cards that the recipient would then be able to remove and use.  So the glue used for magazine freebies would seem to be ideal as it would stick something but then be able to be easily removed.

Lakeland also do a craft book?  Have you tried that?  I know its filled with things for making cards so would have though glue there as well?

If you go to your local craft shop you should be able to get sticky dots by hermafix, they come in permanent and repositionable formats.  Alternatively, try www.gluedotsuk.co.uk not sure if they do repo ones, but worth a try
