It's a big room, currently a tired magnolia colour. The grey would be a change but is it a suitable colour?

Ok, so dove grey and black work well together. You could add a touch of blue to bring it to life, or if you want something softer, pinks, lilacs and even bolder shades of violet would work well.

Another colour that would really suit dove grey and black is an intense cherry red.

Anyway, hope you like whatever you decide to go with.
