New version of Outlook Express

I downloaded the new version Outlook Express 8. I have far too many toolbars at the top which I don't want. Is there a way of sending them somewhere else? Also, often when I try to close down I get a message saying there is an error and to let MS know. This I do. It takes only a second or two, but I still get the message. It would take me ages to copy everything they say is in error, but it starts off
Error Signature
AppName: iexplore.exe
ModVer.5.1.2600.5755

AppVer: 8.0.6001.18702
Offset: 00001006

ModName: ntdll.dll

I'd like to put it right but failing that is there a way I can get back the older version? Is there someone out there who can help? Thanks in advance.

Sorry but my expertise fails me on here.
All I just wanted to say was, I didn't know that there was a new version of Outlook Express.
Hmmm,as you are having problems with it.I don't know whether to go for it myself.
Anyway, maybe someone clever enough like Chuckfickens,or Buenchico might come along and give you some help.
Good luck!!
:-)
either unistall outlook express and reinstall the previous version, or try going to system restore and go back to the date before you installed the new version ,
btw i have had no information about an outlook express update?

Thank you both for your quick answer. I think I'll do a system restore. I'd completely forgotten about that.
Do you mean Outlook Express8? Or do you mean Internet Explorer 8?
As your error message is referring to

AppName: iexplore.exe

then it is Internet Explorer - not Outlook Express.

To get back to the previous version of IE follow this :

You can easily remove the toolbars at the top by selecting the Tools menu on the top right then the option Toolbars.

Then you can deslect which toolbar you dont want (like the Favorites toolbar).

Note that some may not be to with with IE8 but may be the Google toolbar or Yahoo toolbar and so on.
