Pet Chickens

Hi ,

I am wanting to keep Live chickens as pets and just wondered if anyone knew were i could buy 3 from ? Also how much would they cost etc: ! Thanks for the help ALSO PLEASE READ THE QUESTIONS ON CHICKENS THAT BOODLE HAS ASKED !!!!

Hello Christy. Your mum or Dad would have to buy the chickens as you are not old enough. (the law!)They need a safe place to sleep at night and a safe fenced place to be in during the day away from your cat and the dog you are going to get as both these animals would frighten and possibly try to kill and eat your chickens. Boodles posts have been answered with lots of info about how much care they take and some good websites.

thanks woofgand for your answer ! The chickens are for my mother anyway so she would be the one buying them ! And they would never see my cat or dog as they are staying at a farm with about 10 or more other chickens which has a place to slepp at night and fenched off and secure from other animals !Thanks anyway ! I need to know were i can buy chickens from ,please

where did the people on the farm get their chickens from?

He got them ages ago and the breeder of theese chickens no longers breeds them ! I cant find anyone on the internet selling them ,only chicks and i want .3 chickens

Is there an animal feeds shop anywhere near you? (look in Yellow Pages). They may be able to point you in the right direction.
