What is the best quality but most cost effective printer on the market today and what price region is it in?

I work in an office of 75 people and we probably print around 150 pages a day - mainly in colour. Being a design based company most print outs need to be of a relatively good quality but not necessarily perfect, top of the range quality.

We get through our cartridges quite quickly and would like a printer whose cartridges are cheap to replace and easily found (we've got a konica minolta at the moment and nowhere seems to stock the cartridges anymore!)

Please help :)

thanks

I have a samsung CLX-2160, and am very happy with it, the cartridges are large, not those fiddly little things that need replacing every few weeks, check one out.

I forgot to mention that it needs to print a4 and a3 :)
not enough info

inkjet or laser?
laser should be more cost effective -

you are looking at 750 sheets a week
you really need an industrial strength printer - not the sort that most ABers will have at home

google a3 office colour printer - and spend some time (and money)

if your office has 75 people the company should have some form of IT support - what hardware supply does that offer?

kit like that could also have tax consessions as company assets.

we lease mfd from ikon and are charged lease fee + cost per copy but maint and catridges are included. typical machine that i have inc copier, scanner, printer & fax and A4 & A3
