Isn't it now time for Britain to refuse to be part of this unlawful killing, and withdraw it's troops in protest?

Or are we still prepared to take part in this wasteful loss of life, so that we can still retain the so called 'special relationship' with the US?

As in any war, there have been dreadful mistakes and civilian casualties. The difference is when Allied Forces kill innocents they apologise; when Al Qaeda kills innocents they celebrate.

Because of its remoteness it would seem it will never be clear what actually happened as there are them that say the Americans did it, and there are them that say the Taliban threw grenades at the locals. Who is to know for sure? One thing we can wonder though is why those numpty yanks thought an air strike bombardment in a civilian populated area was better than ground troops.
We should be out of there.

The US have killed British soldiers as well through friendly fire. The whole thing has been a disaster for the Britain reputation around the world. Cameron should hold an enquiry when he gets in and bring the people who led us into this illegal war to book.

The problem Gromit is the fact that as unsavoury as it is, unlike the Iraqi war, this is not an illegal war.

We are out in Afghanistan as part of the NATO offensive against terrorism.

Just because NATO have joined in the fun does not mean the war is legal.

Nothing like a straightforward link to clarify the matter, eh?

And that's exactly what your link is!

The war against Afghanistan is illegal. The US, assisted by Canada and Britain is bombing Afghanistan

I don't know how official that web site is Gromit, but it is incorrect.

Neither Canada or Britain are bombing Afghanistan.

There are other NATO troops involved also ie Dutch, German, French, Italian etc.
