making an instrumental from a song

heya does anybody know of a software you can get that allows you to take out the singing from a song therefore making it an instrumental,thanks xx

This will do the trick if you have an ipod.

The results of this will be poor at best. It's practically impossible to do with any degree of accuracy. Once all the parts of the track are mixed together, you can't just remove one of them.

It's like baking a cake then trying to take the flour out!

You could try asking your friendly local karaoke DJ if he has the track you are after.
