I own a Ford Fusion semi automatic, what this means is that you can switch from automatic to manual transmission. The dealer i bought it from said it is more economical in auto. My question is, is it as it does not change gear in auto till about 3000 revs whilst in manual i would change at 2000 hence not over reving the engine and saving fuel? TIA
