Could someone please tell me how to find out which version of Word is installed on my computer? I know I should be able to do it, but I'm having no success and I do feel such an idiot!

Many thanks.

Thank you very much - found it. Will make a note of how to do it for next time!
Apparently it's Word 2002, which is older than I expected.
nothing wrong with 2002
(unless you need it on a vista machine)

the "best" "new" version is 2007 - it has no menus - people take years trying to find the simplest functions ...
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I have just got a second hand reconditioned computer, and I can't find Word on it.
Do I have to pay for it, or is there some way of getting it put on?
