My thoughts on Roy Keane are that if he had not been a succesful footballer, he would have been an IRA terrorist and he would have been well suited to that task.
I live a long way from Ipswich but have a lifetime interest in the club and wish they had not signed him.

There's nothing like keeping an open mind, eh guys? And what you two have said is exactly that!
He always did his best, but he's a Gentleman, in my opinion.
Wasn't he exactly the type of player every fan would have in their team ?
Determined, a terrific player and a leader !
I hope he fails miserably in every post he has in football. He is a vicious thug who let his country down badly. He will walk out on Ipswich the same as he did on Sunderland if things go wrong. Pure evil.
He was a very successful player, but that doesn't necessarily translate into being a good manager. He had initial success at Sunderland, but quit at a low point.

He may not be the most charming man, but his mentor, SAF isn't either.

All City fans dislike him for one tackle. Strangely, they forget Ben Thatcher's equally violent tackle on Mendes, and do not hound the rest of his career.
I don't particularly like Roy Keane but would have to admit that he sticks to his principles and he's not two-faced.
