I have recently switched to BT, and now have a spare netgear router so wanted to try to use the spare to connect to xbox live in the living room. My BT router is in the a spare room out of reach of the cable I need to connect the xbox with. I have a phone line situated behind my tv in the living room so I can connect the router to that but I can't seem to get xbox running through it. Is there any way to do this or anything similar without having to move the main BT router or buying the expensive xbox wireless add-on?

you can only run one broadband router at a time..

You are either going to have to move your current router, run a cable from the Xbox to where the current router is or get the xBox wireless adaptor
