Please offer any help you can we are besides ourselves with the worry. My nephew is having an operation that he is paying for himself (he has had to save for a long time). Yesterday he paid the surgeon 2000 and the seperatly the hospital 1400. However when he paid the 1400 the hospital said his debit card had been declined. As he new he had the exact funds in his building society account they tried again and it failed again. They advised him to go back to his building society. He did, the BS said the hospital 'had' taken 1400 twice and as a result there wasn't initial funds to pay the original 2000. The hosp are adamant that both 1400 payments were declined. Whats the best way forward because if the surgeon dont recieve their money 15 days before surgery (next friday) he will loose his 700 deposit! What do I do please help we are all so worried. thank-you:-)
