I have 144 photos that i want to put on disc. They were taken on various mobile phones and are in a folder in the order that they were taken (DATE) going from Dec 2006 to Dec 2008. I am using Nero Vision Express 2 to burn them to CD but when i add them to the programme they are all mixed up, what can i do to keep them in the same date order as they are in the folder

Photos on a CD are placed in an alpha/numerical order according to the name of the file and not the date order.
Rename your photos 001George&Jane.jpg, 002Springtime.jpg, etc. and they should then record in numerical order.
If you record them on to a CD/RW disc as a trial, you won't be wasting another disc if it goes wrong.
If it records as you want it to, just copy the CD/RW to an ordinary CD/R disc.
Using the CD/RW disc initially can save a lot of spoiled CDs

the pictures should retain their original dates

burn the CD
display the contents in explorer
switch to detail view
click on the grey strip at the top labeled "date modified"

you can then switch back to thumbnail or filmstrip view to view them in date order
incedentaly
all files display depending on the sort order chosen

by default it's sortedon name ... but right click the grey strip to see many other available headings ... all can be sorted on
