My daughter is having trouble with her printer. There is a message on the screen telling her printing is starting, but nothing happens. She has a laptop with a wireless connection and is on XP. Her printer is an Epson Stylus D68. She has done the usual checks, new cartridges, cables connected OK, switched on etc. She would be grateful for any advice.

printer drivers are not installed properly.

installed the printer driver first than connect the printer.

print the test page from the printer.

go to run type services
enable the print spooler service from the services.

try to print again, .for more information you can avail at this source at http://www.iyogi.co.uk .
A common cause is a job stuck in the print queue (maybe a document formatted for US Letter size instead of A4.)

Check the print queue and delete any outstanding documents, then try again.

rojash is putting the wrong information on the answers . he does not give the correct link / information to the denis for their printer problem.
rojash did not read the questions and give the wrong answers to the denis for their problem.

http://www.redcolor.org
there is no information in the above link related to the question of the denis. 567 which is send by the rojash.

so denis ignore the rojash link . do not use it,
it is waste less.
The connection between my answer and your question is that you say no printing takes place, and this can be caused if a previous job is blocking the print queue (the place where Windows puts the print jobs immediately prior to sending the to the printer). You can check the contents of the print queue by choosing Settings/Control Panel/Printers and Faxes and double-clicking the icon for your printer. When the print queue window opens, check to see if there any documents listed, and if so, delete them. Then try printing again.

I apologise for the link - it's my little joke with Johnpol who adds a link to his commercial site at the end of every post and is getting on my nerves (and those of many others on here as well).
