My desktop computer will go into Ebay but will not do anything within the site, e.g. go into 'My Ebay'. When I try, I get a message saying ' Your Browser is rejecting cookies'. It is running Windows XP and has Norton System Works and Norton Firewall installed. I don't have trouble with other sites, including answerbank.  It is also OK if I use Ebay.com instead of  Ebay.co.uk

My laptop has no problem. It also has the above software installed, purchased separately.

I have followed the instructions to check the Internet Explorer settings and the Norton programs are set to default.  I have also searched for files containing ebay.

Any ideas? As you can see, I am by no means a computer expert, but can follow instructions.

You probably need to enable cookies. Click on Tools, then click on Internet Options, then click on the Privacy tab - move the slider so that it is set on medium, then click OK. That should sort it.

Thanks for trying, but that's not it.  I had it set on medium, but I've tried it on low as a double check.  It's something that knows the difference between ebay.co.uk and ebay.com
