I'm off to the gym now. But whilst I'm away, could someone please describe to me exactly how they think Islamic law will be incorporated into the statute books.
Seriously - give it a go. I want specifics, rather than, "It's happen one day...we're going to be in the minority in 10 years".
I want you to describe to me, exactly how you see it happening.
Also, whilst we're at it, could you explain the maths regarding how Muslims will be the majority religious group in the UK, when they make up 2.7% of the population at the moment.
For Islam to become the dominant religion in the UK, they would have to form 51% of the population, right?
So with the population of the UK current standing at 60,943,912 (according to government figures), there would have to be the mother of all population explosions amongst Muslims for Islam to become the dominant faith.
30 million Muslim births or conversions in 10 years.
Not sure if that is feasible.

I think that could very well happen sp, I raised this point on Monday and was ridiculed by ???? and debated with others I for one, don't want my country to go any further down the road of appeasment to the absolute nutcases you see spouting their trash in the likes of Hyde Park, am I wrong to want them moved on or even detained under the "causing incitement"law? I am sick of hearing the "won't happen to us" doesn't that make us a complacent Nation or as it was put in my post, lilly-livered hand wringers!!! Maybe not in 10 yrs or even 20yrs, but we all have family younger than us, what kind of legacy are we leaving?

The UK is becoming more and more secular. That means, although we believe in freedom of belief, it's increasingly less enshrined in our system of government.

I believe Sharia Law will happen, maybe not for another 15-20 years, but happen it will, and it;ll be either by insurrection, or putting them in No10, and if that happens, Democracy in this country goes.
Look back on this country 10, 15, 20 years ago, then look at Pakistan now, and your looking at this countries future.

I have no doubt that Sharia Law would be applied in this country. Only difference would be that It may not be called Sharia Law.
People are fed up with binge drinking, drink related crimes, accidents, benefit cheats due to that and more. More and more people are talking about the ill factors. so one day law will have to be changed. Perhaps a limited ban on drinking.
More and more people are having problems with unwanted yobs on the streets, who are their fathers? who is responsible for their proper upbringing? what is missing. Is it due to sex without marriage (commitment). One MP has recently spoken about it, sometime law will have to be changed.
More and more violence in our streets, more than ever people are talking about bringing back capital punishments.
Ban on drinking, more commitment to children, capital punishment. Don't call it Sharia Law, call whatever you want, but it is needed. Or keep trying other options and see if it gives the result, keep watching, I surely am.

Yes sp, thats exactly whats going to happen, this isn't the same nation as it was in 39-45, take a look at this country now, go to virtually any town, the personality and pride has changed immensley, mostly in the last eleven years.
