Welcome to the news section pawnbroker, it is nice to see a 10 year old trying to use this section.

Trouble is we like to act a bit grown up in the "news" area, rather than writing swear words like a schoolboy.

Hopefully when you have matured a little bit you will come back and add something sensible.

I'm sorry VHG but your "response" has gone way over my head. Would you care to explain to this 60+year old "schoolboy"
Mike1222,
you may have missed a previous entry by pawnbroker who submitted an obnoxious and totally irrelevant attack on you. what you're reading is VHG's reply.Pawnbrokers entry and subsequent reply to VHG has been removed.

Thank you for that, vulcan - I missed a bit of fun then!
mike1222, sorry to confuse you.

As has been said, a user called "pawnbroker" wrote a childish but obscene reply to your question. He also called you a rude name, using a swear word.

I decided the best course of action was to resort to sarcasm for such a stupid and childish append.

His append has been removed, leaving mine looking at bit isolated and silly.
Why any MP living in the Greater London and surrounding areas needs 'second home' payments is beyond me. If this is legal under present Parliamentary legislation, the regulations should be changed immediately to restore some semblance of public confidence in the system.

VHG, that's OK - I'm easily confused these days!
As the man himself is quoted as saying - he's done nothing wrong.
That's almost certainly true.
The trouble is, we all know the rules are pathetic and we all wish that MPs had roughtly the same deal as the majority of us get. That doesn't include making shed loads of readies tax-free from expenses.
When one is in a leadership position, one has to demonstrate by actions that align to one's words. I find it incredible that MPs don't appreciate this.
Having been caught with his hand in the till at least he has now taken it out (which is more than can be said for most of our MPs).
What's the proportion of crooks in the houses of parliament compared with the general population outside? It does seem to set a bad example.
