Howard Hewett

I know that this may be an odd question, but what is Howard Hewett's race? To me, he looks part African American and Hispanic. He also looks part African American and Native American. I want to know because he is one of my favorite singers of all time and I've always wondered what is his race. I'm a very curious person about a lot of things of this world. Also, do you know when his next album is coming out? I have came across a message on the internet that fans are awaiting the definitive album of his that is suppose to be coming out.
