Not sure if this is the right area to post -

Anyone got any good products or tips on bleaching / whitening clothes? I don't have a large wardrobe of clothes and tend to have my favourites which I will wear until they literally fall off me :o) Some of my whites - tees, shirts, bras etc. are looking pretty blue-grey these days, and if I could whiten them up again I'd be a very happy bunny. Any advice appreciated!

You can find whitening products in any supermarket (washing powder aisle).

The site below has a list of natural alternatives:

Hang them out in the sunshine to dry
As well as commercial whitening products such as Glo White, a traditional way is to leave them out on the washing line overnight when there's going to be a frost.

Thankyou for all your answers. Has anyone actually tried any of the supermarket products? I have tried Ace which has worked to some extent but I didn't think it was massively effective. And I heard that the Dylon stuff is a bit hit and miss also.

jean, if we get any decent sunshine in our area that would be a really good method I think!
