I have an old 'Olivetti JP 192', that has suddenly given up the ghost, but not before throwing up an error message reading:

"THE CURRENT PRINT JOB REQUIRES A MONOCHROME OR A STANDARD COLOUR PRINT HEAD. INSTALL ONE AND CLICK OK OR CLICK CANCEL AND CHANGE YOU DRIVER SETTINGS".

The machine goes through all the correct sounds/printhead positioning etc when asked to print, but then the message - won't even print a test page.
The print head is fairly new, and was working until quite recently. I've also tried to install the software on various OS systems ie: '95/'98/ME/XP, all to no avail.
A couple of last points, you can't change the driver settings, or download updated driver from the net as this model is too ancient!!

I think your answer lies in the statement "this model is too ancient!!"

Printers are not immortal, but they are cheap, so I suggest it's time for a new one.
you tried to print a test page from the machine without the computer.

check all the connections properly .

check the led of the machine is it blinking.

uninstalled the drivers properly. and again try to installed it from the cd or from the internet.

johnpol179, looking through your previous answers, they are total gibberish, as is this one.

If this is a sample of the support from the site you are constantly advertising, I don't think it's going to be in business very long.
