Something unusual happened this weekend. Someone was actually enthusing about a pint of Boddingtons Cask Bitter that they had recently had. When the Strangeways Brewery was shut, there wre rumours that production of Cask Boddies would go to Hydes' Brewery in Moss Side. Can anyone confirm this, or tell me who does brew it these days.

Its brewed by Interbrew UK and l believe production of Boddingtons is split between its remaining breweries at Preston, Glasgow and Magor.  Unsure about its Belfast brewery.  There is little left of the "Cream of Manchester".
Yes, I believe that cask conditioned Boddingtons is being brewed by Hydes.

Sorry, l wasnt clear.  Non-cask ale has moved from Manchester but cask is contracted to Hyde.
