Sorry but I am a woman and I slap perfume on everywhere.
I am a woman and I slap it on everywhere although maybe not round my jaw.
Why does any woman use perfume ? I like the smell of women.

Andy Hughes is right about aftershaves' astringent properties but I think that at first they were sparingly scented, perhaps with light toilet waters, barely noticeable.  When it became OK for blokes to smell perfumed, the aftershave had more and sexier smells added, some easily drowning out womens'perfumes!

Brionon might like the smell of women but women don't!

Always seemed to me to be the "delicate" zones for women, maybe a subconscious body language thing.  Many women (well OK me) would find a delicate stroking/kissing of the inner wrist or neck hard to resist.

Showing your vulnerable side to a guy like how women tilt their neck to show it off to a guy they're attracted to and a showing your wrist is a sign of trust and attraction too.

Maybe it's just a further step to attract the man of your dreams :)

Yes, surely with the advances made in "gentlemen's grooming" the slapping, astringent approach is outdated. The question was prompted by an advert where a guy slaps the aftershave on, and I just wondered...
